Well…. this was a night to remember!

Les demonstrated how to make a box with a reversible top with finials. In his own words, “Nothing can be put in it with the lid is on, but

Turners don’t have to make practical things all the time. We can just have fun occasionally” Les’s obvious skills and fantastic sense of fun

really came through. Added to this were some very valuable tips for Turners. The lid made from Sycamore, or as he called it

“Hampshire Weed”. The end result was lovely. Judge for yourself.
